Paul Ryan steps up to the plate
The vice presidential candidates debate between Paul Ryan and Joe Biden is this Thursday. And while Mitt Romney had a strong performance at his first debate, we here at CLAF have a feeling that Ryan will do even better.
Already Ryan’s hitting Biden after the vice president proudly promised to raise taxes by $1 trillion:
“Last night, President Obama made it very clear he’s going to raise taxes,” Ryan said. “Today, Vice President Joe Biden made it even more clear. He asked himself a question. He asked if he and President Obama want a trillion-dollar tax hike, and his answer to himself was, ‘yes we do.’ Well Virginia, no we don’t.”
Let’s hope for plenty more explanatory lines like that on Thursday.
